Saint Benedict Parish | Halifax, NS | JDA MacKenzie Architects
Saint Benedict Parish officially opened its doors to the public on May 16, 2010. Designed by JDA MacKenzie Architects (a firm later acquired by Stantec in 2013), the $9.5 million Catholic church took three years to construct. Prior to its existence, residents of Clayton Park and surrounding area were served by three separate parishes: St. Lawrence, St. Pius X and Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
